| While the ideas of this Journal are speculative, at least so far, they are only a small extension from the established evidence of contemporary physics and astronomy. If you consider them too speculative for consideration, then consider the extraordinary unlikliness of being, that anything exists at all and that awareness is. This majestic panorama of time, trees and clouds that we know is ultimately mysterious even in its most everyday occurrences. That something is, or at least seems to be, is doubly mystifying. While religion asks why, science asks how, but even if we knew these answers there would remain an ineffable mystery, roughly asked as: the how of the why, the why of the how. So let us not falter in our courage of thought and being, let us not be haltered by preconceptions. |
