Do we find voids in being? Blank paper, whose void is open to writing, drawing and calculation; mirrors, whose void reflects all the world around; clay, whose void may be entered by any forms modeled in the clay; mist, night and fog whose void envelops unseen forms which might appear; water flowing into the void of form or resting there; solitude, in whose void may be found all things creative; musical instruments, whose void contains all unplayed music; time, whose void contains all action, motion and surprise; the unknown, whose void surrounds us always; the self, whose void passes inward and outward to unbounded destiny; heart and emotion, whose void is love; silence, quietude and peace.
