VOID

MIND ALIVE

AS READ BY THE AUTHOR
God says: being becomes most perfect when existence and the void are mixed in nearly equal proportion: spring and fall, sunrise and twilight, mathematics, art, love, rainbows, gardens, hand tools. Grace is found in the balanced proportion of void and existence. However, the world is and must be richer than exact balance, for where would we be (in heaven perhaps, but not on earth) if all things were in balance and in equal proportion? Where would be the energy of change and transformation? Where growth, hope, and free will? Harmonious balance is our proper goal and guide, but one which we need never attain entirely and in all things. Existence surges up into the void, spreading its wings, unfolding its compact machine, while the void infiltrates its critical joints, enriching essence, spreading color and cool space through the inward ball of fire.
