DAVID Delight Plus vs Delight Pro
Comparison
The Delight Plus and the Delight Pro run the same 28 light-and-sound sessions. The only real difference is that the Pro can also give CES: a very small current through ear clips. If you do not plan to use CES, the Plus gives you the same sessions for $165 less.

What CES adds
CES stands for cranio-electro stimulation. Two soft clips go on the ear lobes and pass a very small, gentle current while the session runs. On the Delight Pro the CES rhythm follows the frequency of the light-and-sound session, so both work in the same rhythm. You can also use CES on its own, without the lights, or switch CES off and use light and sound only.
CES is an option, not a requirement. The sessions themselves are identical on the two devices.
Which one to choose
Choose the Delight Plus if
- light and sound is what you are after;
- you want the full session library at the lower price;
- you would rather not wear ear clips.
Choose the Delight Pro if
- you want the option of CES, alone or together with light and sound;
- you want to add a MET kit later;
- you live in the US: the Pro ships free there, which narrows the price gap.
The Pro does everything the Plus does. CES cannot be added to a Plus later, so if you think you may want it, the Pro is the safer choice.
Questions people ask
Can I add CES to a Delight Plus later?
No. The Delight Plus has no CES function. Only the Delight Pro and the Premier offer CES.
Are the sessions really the same?
Yes. Both have the same 25 sessions in five categories and the same three gamma sessions. The session names, lengths and frequencies are listed in the operator's manuals.
Can I use other eyesets?
Yes. Both devices work with the Viewhole eyeset (see-through, for use with eyes open) and the Multi-Color eyeset (six colours plus white). You can choose one when you order, or add one later.
Is either device for me if I have epilepsy or a pacemaker?
Do not use light-and-sound sessions if you have photosensitive epilepsy or a history of seizures. Do not use CES if you have a pacemaker or another implanted electrical device. If you are unsure, ask your doctor first. The DAVID devices support relaxation and general wellness; they do not diagnose or treat any condition.
